Fireblocks has made a strategic move to acquire TRES Finance for $130 million, merging its digital asset infrastructure platform with TRES Finance's enterprise-grade financial data and reporting capabilities. This acquisition creates a comprehensive operating system for institutional digital asset operations, addressing the growing need for accurate accounting and auditability in the crypto space.

TRES Finance serves over 200 organizations, including notable names like Alchemy, Bank Frick, and Wintermute. The combined platform will streamline digital asset management by integrating transaction execution with financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance into a single workflow.

"With digital assets now part of day-to-day financial operations, both crypto-native firms and traditional institutions need clear, accurate accounting and auditability," said Michael Shaulov, CEO of Fireblocks. The merger reflects the increasing demand for robust financial infrastructure as institutions transition to blockchain-based operations.
